DESCRIPTION:Join us for a forró dance lesson with instructor Gui Prada! \nWarm up for EducArte’s For All Dance Party with Rob Curto and Rose Moraes at Joe’s Movement Emporium with a special forró lesson taught by instructor Gui Prada! Gui is an internationally known Brazilian social dance instructor\, with expertise in zouk\, forró\, and more. \nThe lesson will run from 5-6PM\, and the dance party will start at 7PM. Tickets for the class are $15\, but if you show your ticket for the dance party afterwards\, you will get a $5 discount on the class ($10). Join us Saturday\, July 24th at 7PM to learn a new dance and shimmy the night away!  \nThis event is for all ages so bring the entire family!  \nJoin us for a forró dance party featuring master accordion player Rob Curto and Brazilian vocalist Rose Moraes. Forró (foh-HO) is a two-step partner dance from northeastern Brazil that everyone can pick up easily.  \nCome early at 6:30PM to warm up and learn some dance tips with instructors Kate Spanos and Pablo Regis. \nAbout the artists:\nRob Curto is an accordionist\, composer\, and educator based in Philadelphia. Rob has a prolific career touring and composing\, gaining notoriety for his mastery of the piano accordion\, exciting harmonic blends\, and general musicianship across genres and musical boundaries. He is a founding member of the “Brazilian bluegrass” band Matuto and has played with artists such as Lila Downs\, David Krakauer\, Kiran Ahluwalia\, and Dominguinhos. Born in the south of Brazil near São Paulo\, she has performed in Switzerland\, Poland\, Brazil\, and the US\, where she now resides.
