Latin Grammy Award winner Vanessa Da Mata is a Brazilian singer and songwriter from Mato Grosso, Brazil. Her musical style is a mix of Brazilian popular music (MPB), samba, pop, reggae, and R&B.
We sold out Vanessa’s concert at the Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center! It was a beautiful concert, with an opening performance by percussion group Samba Trovão and dancer Zezeh. Special Brazilian treats (brigadeiros) were provided by June B Sweet. Vanessa and her band brought down the house with her new and old hits. Thanks to all for coming out and making this such a special event.
