About the program
Join us twice a month on Saturday afternoons for our two-part Brazilian carnival dance class!
The class includes samba and frevo (an energetic style from northeastern Brazil). Our professional instructors Ilheuma Zezeh (samba) and Kate Spanos (frevo) focus on the basics of these energetic Brazilian carnival dance styles and promote a safe and inclusive space for people to learn and dance together.
All levels are welcome to participate.
Time
Twice a month on Saturdays, 1-2 PM frevo and 2-3 PM samba (see calendar below).
Location
The Old Parish House, 4711 Knox Road in College Park.
Registration
We encourage participants to register for a full semester. Registration includes regular classes and opportunities to perform at local events. Drop-ins are also available. (Same price for adults and children.)
