EducArte presents Joao Bosco as part of our first Brazilian Guitar Masters Festival

João Bosco

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our first Brazilian Guitar Masters Festival this past weekend!

On Saturday night, iconic Brazilian guitarist and songwriter João Bosco brought his quartet to Catholic University’s Hartke Theatre on Saturday evening. He was joined by top Brazilian musicians Ricardo Silveira (guitar), Kiko Freitas (drums), and Guto Wirtti (bass). We loved hearing Bosco’s classics, like “O Bêbado e a Equilibrista,” “Incompatibilidade de Gênios,” and “De Frente Pro Crime,” among other favorites.

Thanks also to Nanny and Dani Assis for bringing their impressive trio to open the show.

We would like to thank to Catholic University’s Institute for Latin American and Iberian Studies (ILAIS) and Latin American Music Center (LAMC) for partnering with us to make this concert possible.
