Join us for a lecture/demonstration on Brazilian choro music with master mandolinist Mike Marshall, in partnership with the University of Maryland’s Global Communities Living-Learning Program. Marshall will perform some tunes and talk about choro, Brazil’s first urban popular music and the precursor to samba.
