We had a wonderful Saturday at Creative Alliance in Baltimore to celebrate both São João and the end of our Spring 2023 semester. We held our bateria and carnival dance classes in the afternoon, and it was great to have so many new folks from the Baltimore community! In the evening, we topped it off with a fantastic concert by choro masters Iuri Bittar on guitar and Almir Côrtes on mandolin, joined by our very own André Coelho on pandeiro. It was a very special performance and we look forward to bringing Iuri and Almir back again next year!
