On March 19, EducArte proudly presented the legendary Grupo Fundo de Quintal at Black Cat DC, marking a memorable night for Brazilian samba lovers in the region. Over the past 50 years, Fundo de Quintal has been a pivotal force in Brazilian music, particularly in the pagode genre, which they helped popularize. Their unique blend of traditional samba rhythms with modern elements has captivated audiences worldwide.
The evening was enhanced by Prime Brazil Food, which offered a variety of authentic Brazilian snacks on site, allowing attendees to immerse themselves more fully in the culture. The band took the stage and the crowd was electrified, singing along to Fundo de Quintal’s iconic songs and other samba classics. The collective energy vibrated in the room, with everyone jumping up and down and waving their hands, united in their love for Brazilian music.
EducArte extends heartfelt thanks to the Black Cat staff for their professionalism and support, which contributed to the event’s success. We are always proud to bring the best of Brazilian music to our community here in DC! Events like these not only celebrate the richness of Brazilian culture but also strengthen the bonds within our diverse community.
