We are happy to share that EducArte was selected to work one-on-one with a fundraising consultant through Compass Pro Bono’s On Demand program. Through On Demand, volunteers work with nonprofit leadership to address an immediate strategic challenge for up to eight weeks.

We are excited to announce our partnership with Levine Music to present EducArte’s samba percussion and dance classes at Levine’s Silver Spring campus in Montgomery County starting on January 18. Levine Music is the largest and most prestigious community music school in our region, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to add Brazil’s vibrant music and dance to their offerings.

Congratulations to our Executive Director, Pablo Regis de Oliveira, on being selected to represent Maryland as a National Leaders of Color Fellow for 2023-24! The program supports arts leaders of color who are committed to the advancement of cultural equity in the arts, emphasizing policy and data in the arts, leadership, culture of care, and strategic foresight through an advocacy lens.

We recently unveiled a new visual identity to more effectively convey our mission to bring equity to the Brazilian cultural arts community in Maryland and the DC region. The new design expresses EducArte’s unique, joyful brand and incorporates elements from Brazilian folk arts, especially from northeastern Brazil and Brasília.
