This past weekend we held a mini street parade with our Brazilian percussion ensemble to celebrate Carnival! We were led by our percussion director André Coelho, and participants included friends and neighbors of all ages. We meet every other week at the Old Parish House, and this year we are building a Happy Carnival! Read More »

Over 10 years ago, we met training capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art/dance, in Washington, DC. Pablo comes from a Brazilian music background and Kate grew up doing Irish dancing. Connecting over shared interests in cultural performance, we began to produce shows all over the DMV.
